“Goodnight, mama.”
“Ah.”
“Goodnight, Fati.”
“Goodnight,” she smiles.
“Goodnight, Yassine.”
—PAUSE—
He doesn’t look away from the computer keyboard.
“Insha’Allah,” he finally says.
“Goodnight, baba.”
“Bye bye.”
